Assumption Vocational Institute (AVI) provides vocational training for early school leavers aged 14 and above who leave school after their Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) or before completing their secondary education.

The training programme in AVI is essentially a 2-year ITE Skills Certificate (ISC) programme. The first year ISC programme is designed to provide the foundation for further skills training. For the second year of training, students can opt for the ISC Electrical Servicing course or the ISC Mechanical Servicing course or ISC Food Preparation and Service course depending on their aptitude and ability.
